Class schedules can sometimes be adjusted to fit your needs. All classes held at Crim de la Crim, 137 N. Queen Street, unless noted.

Our Instructors

Mary Kay Anderson has studied Decorative painting for 34 years. She has been teaching decorative painting for 16 years and has been faux painting for 8 years.
Priscilla Blosser-Rainey has taught workshops around the U.S. since 1975 at several colleges, park service and craft workshops at her own River Farm in Timberville, VA and active in textile work in several museums in VA and WV in recent years.
Karen Cartlidge is a member of HCCEP, has her own business, Homespun Creations, and creates a variety of objects for the home including quilts, baskets, punched tin and needle punch embroidery.
Penni Denton has taught several textile classes for the Heritage Craft Center in the past few years.
Hilda Eiber has worked with the Heritage Craft Center for many years and is a well known local potter. She has exhibited at many venues, most recently at the Mountain Heritage Festival.
Joyce Hamilton teaches the Donna Dewberry method of Decorative Painting. She has been painting for over 11 years.
Lin Hausknecht has 20 years experience in pottery and has taught at the Lord Fairfax Community College for the last seven years. She displays and sells her work in the Tri-State area in shops and craft shows.
Judy Jeffares has worked in a variety of craft media over the last 15 years. Currently, her focus is on lampworking and gourd craft where she incorporates metal, glass and clay into her designs.
Diane Roman, while new to the Heritage Craft Center, has been involved with weaving for many years. She will teach the first of Heritage’s weaving classes this Spring.
Carol Slovikosky, owner/operator of Parrish Farm Artworks, has been a glass artist since 1984. She uses historic and modern techniques to create original and traditional glass art.
Nancy Streeter has been woodcarving for well over 17 years and has been an instructor for HCCEP for seven.
Tamra Trafford is a certified/trained ISGB instructor (International Society of Glass Beadmakers) and follows their teaching guidelines in all of her instructing.
